I Didn’t Come With Baggage, I Came With a Trunk!
Funny how we think we need to hold on to everything in our lives. We hold on to the good and the bad, the beautiful and the ugly. The fact is everyone comes with baggage; it’s how long you want to hold on to it that matters.
I didn’t come with baggage; I came with a trunk full of stuff that weighed me down so badly I couldn’t get up. One day I finally decided to get rid of it. It is unbelievable to think that I would keep replaying tapes from childhood that has nothing to do with who I am or what I have become over the years. Yet a word, situation or conversation was able to set me back to that place that I had put away so long ago. People do that every day with little or big things and continue to beat themselves up for years for what they should have or could have done in their past. It is time to forgive you and move on. Throw out the baggage and travel light. Time to throw out some of those stories you keep retelling and create some new ones. Those excuses you have been carrying around have weighed you down. Perhaps you found others ways to add weight to your baggage. Did you pick up other things along the way like eating? Stuffing everything in as if you won’t get the opportunity ever again.
What are you carrying with you that doesn’t serve you any longer? How did it all serve you over the years and how is it serving you now?
If you are not where you want to be in life and you are unhappy with your present circumstances then it is time to throw out the stuff that weighs you down! Visit www.FINEtoFAB.com website regularly for help.
